Participant Materials

IT Training Consultant

As a Technical Instructor:

  • Delivers training courses as per assigned schedule
  • Achieves the required certification levels and tracks as per the business needs
  • Studies, prepares and qualifies himself for new introductions of courses, ensures practical coverage of all the course labs
  • Prepares and troubleshoots issues for classroom set-up such as courseware, labs and assessment tools
  • Maintain responsibility for tracking key metrics on customer satisfaction
  • Prepares and provides regular reports as needed
  • Responsible for knowledge transfer to the new instructors upon assignment

Learning Solutions Consultant:

Serve as an expert about the Trends Academy Training Services, the role as pre-sales will assist sales team in developing the business with customers.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in the IT field - familiarity with any of the ff technologies and disciplines:

- Network Security

- InfoSec

- Cloud

- Data Science

- Virtualization

- Programming Languages (Python, Object-Oriented Programming)

  • Excellent Presentation Skills

Account Managers (Technology and Training)

Job Description

  • Meet minimum sales and collections targets as set forth by the management.
  • Identify new opportunities for business with both existing and new clients.
  • Manage client relationships by consistently doing cold/warm calls and client visitations to uncover opportunities and advance sales process.
  • Work proactively with colleagues to provide the necessary service required to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Support and promote marketing activities to aid customer acquisition including e-mail marketing, seminar events and trade shows.
  • Prepare and provide presentations and quotations to clients as needed.
  • Continually do market research regarding the current trends happening and learn the implication of those trends to the industry, customers, markets and competition.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • With at least 2-year sales experience in technology, training, or adjacent industry

Product Manager

Job Description

A. Product Management

  • maintain responsibility for tracking key metrics across a portfolio of IT Learning products and services
  • serve as an expert about the Trends Academy Training Services, the product manager will assist salespeople in optimizing sales and market presence.
  • serve as an intermediary between Trends Academy Sales team and Vendor Partners about the Trends Academy Learning products, the product manager will assist salespeople in negotiating pricing, discounting, scheduling, etc. for partner-delivered offerings
  • determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing service and sales costs;specifying volume; costing special and customized orders

B. Portfolio and Partner Management

  • Manage the existing vendor partners and suppliers in terms of course delivery logistics, service fulfillment, billing and monitoring of service-level agreements
  • Evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement
  • Monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics
  • Manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges
  • Manage the interaction between vendors and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs
  • Liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise contractual agreements as necessary
  • Manage the balance in vendor relationships to support the achievement of agreed commercial outcomes

C. Marketing Management

  • combines sales, marketing and product knowledge of IT Certification Courses to conduct market research, and design a marketing strategy, in order to promote a Trends Academy product
  • Obtains product market information by working with the sales manager to develop product sales strategies

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in the IT field - familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, Project Management and other certification programs is very advantageous
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Procurement, Vendor Management or Supply Chain Management highly regarded
  • Proven customer focus, interpersonal and communications skills to ensure consistent messages are communicated to internal customers / stakeholders, able to work well in a team environment and adhere to the highest ethical standards
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, advertising, business administration, or IT-related course
  • Demonstrable work experience in Category Management, Supply Chain, Vendor Management or Procurement, including all aspects of strategy sourcing development and execution.
  • Demonstrated high level organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to apply lateral thinking to issues and develop new and innovative solutions to problems/target areas
  • Ability to create and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is expected
  • Individuals who have previous experience in marketing, communication, advertising, business administration, or IT-related industry

Marketing Specialist

Job Purpose

Responsible for promoting and driving the business growth of the company through effective marketing communication strategy, market research and competitive analysis. Helps the company in identifying, creating, developing, and implementing new strategies and campaigns.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, landscape and trends.
  • Assists in developing, implementing and coordinating holistically effective marketing campaign
